DOWN BET: To wager that the result of an action will be smaller than the smallest end of the quote on a spread bet, also known as a "sell".

DOZEN BET: In roulette, to gamble on any of three groups of twelve numbers, 1-twelve, etc.

EACH WAY BET: A athletic event bet, indicating to wager on a team or player to win or place in a game.
